What a busy day yesterday was, for our flight crew. Taranaki Community Rescue Helicopter completed 5 missions with 6 hrs airborne time! The Rescue Helicopter was seen in Hawera, Palmerston North, Waverley, Matau, Hamilton and a spot of winch training off Port Taranaki!
We transported 2 badly injured people to Taranaki Base Hospital (separate incidents), transported 2 to Waikato Hospital, 1 from Waikato back to Taranaki Base and 1 patient from Hawera to Palmerston North Hospital.
A long day for our flight crew, they are legends and saving lives 24/7!
